Join a tight-knit and innovative Marketing team, the Social Media Executive in conjunction with the Social Media Manager will champion Australian Turf Club’s Social media strategy and content plan by bringing ATC’s story to life through engaging content.
Key objectives of the role include:
Delivering aspirational content to drive engagement and commercial metrics.
Help drive key content creation to support partners and deliver new business opportunities.
Assist in building reports that help inform the business of key insights to shape future decisions.
Continue to assist in improvement of web content and layout through analytical insights.
Ensure consistent and aspirational tone-of-voice across social media and website.
Build desire to attend events through timely relevant and engaging social media posts through platform tailored content.
Ensure effective planning by working closely with key stakeholders to support coordinated and targeted content plan.
Help drive the social media content plan and play key role in website content management and EDM support as required.
Work closely with internal departments to manage their digital requirements in line with digital strategy.
Any other ad-hoc duties as required
THE RIGHT FIT
To be successful in the role, the right person will display:
Minimum three years of social media and marketing experience
Strong editorial sense and ability to identify and create engaging and aspirational content
Experience with community management
Deep understanding across key and emerging social media platforms
Ability to edit using Adobe products
Able to demonstrate exceptional results from executing social media and or marketing communication plans
Understanding of analytical tools and can provide meaningful insights and reports
Standard professional level IT skills.
Excellent copywriting skills and experience executing EDM communications strategy on Dot Digital (or similar)
Understanding of customer segmentation and measurement of email campaigns
CMS experience (Word Press or similar)
Ability to support delivery of SEO/SEM initiatives
Experience with Google Analytics and reporting
Interest in racing but not essential
