Reporting into the Rostering Manager and based at Royal Randwick Racecourse, the Rostering Officer will be responsible for rostering out casual workforce at Australian Turf Club, covering the four premier racing and entertainment venues. 

Key objectives of the role include:

  • Create and fill rosters for race days and events on collaboration with the relevant departments.
  • Attend and coordinate team member check-in on race days to ensure team members are using the vein scanners to register for their shift, are wearing the correct uniform and are going to right outlet.
  • Ensure that time and attendance is completed by the relevant departments in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with casual agencies to fill any gaps in the roster.
  • Be the point of contact for the casual team.
  • Maintain team member records and accurate information in the relevant systems – including time and attendance, VISA status, RSA/RCG


To be successful in the role, the right fit will possess:

  • 2+ years’ experience in workforce planning and time and attendance.
  • Sound organisational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Sound data entry skills.
  • Experience with Humanforce is preferred but not essential.
