THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Operations Manager will join the team responsible for the execution of race day and non-race day functions, events & hospitality outlets at our Rosehill Gardens and Canterbury Park venues, managing in a hands-on capacity, the forward planning, event setup, pre-service event briefing, post event and shift reporting, all while ensuring an outstanding customer experience for our guests.

 

THE RIGHT FIT

To be successful in the role, the right fit will possess:

  • Experience in food & beverage service and operations with a reputation for quality customer service;
  • Strong team leadership, supervisory and motivational skills are a must including improving the performance of a team of people in a customer service environment;
  • Interpretation and application of legislation relevant to food and beverage services such as HACCP, RSA and OH&S;
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan and execute multiple tasks;
  • Sound conflict resolution and problem-solving skills;
  • Computer literacy and skills in Word and Excel as well as experience with systems such as EBMS, HumanForce, Visio, Task Retail would be advantageous;
  • Embody the ATC Values of Care, Collaborate, Own and Bold
