Join our Hospitality & Events Team

Spring Carnival is the most exciting time on the Australian racing calendar — and we're looking for experienced, high-energy Beverage Setup team members to join our casual team.

We want our guests to have a truly great day out.  As a casual Beverage Setup team member, you'll be focusing on the behind-the-scenes beverage operations for our Racing Carnivals and social events throughout the year ensuring our front of house team has what they need to service our valued customers.

• Ongoing work — our functions and events calendar is busy throughout the year, with shifts available 7 days a week and loads of work leading up to Christmas

Spring Carnival race days

Shifts are available from August onwards, but you'll need to be available for at least 5 of the following race days (day shift):

• Sat 19 Sept – Royal Randwick
• Sat 26 Sept – Rosehill Gardens
• Sat 3 Oct – Royal Randwick
• Sat 10 Oct – Rosehill Gardens
• Sat 17 Oct – Royal Randwick
• Sat 24 Oct – Royal Randwick
• Sat 31 Oct – Rosehill Gardens
• Tue 3 Nov – Royal Randwick
• Sat 7 Nov – Rosehill Gardens

What you'll bring

• Hold a Current NSW RSA certification
• Be a quick and willing learner
• Be able to perform physically demand tasks
• Be able to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Have strong communication and people skills with a friendly, professional approach
• Be flexible to work a varied role, not limited to one section or task
• Have high standards of grooming and presentation
• Nice to haves - previous experience in bar set up; service or event hospitality; experience in stock or inventory management; a current Forklift license; previous experience with post mix and beer line equipment
